Vivo has introduced the Vivo Y18 and Vivo Y18e in the Indian market. These smartphones are powered by octa-core MediaTek Helio chipsets and boast 5,000mAh batteries with fast wired charging capabilities. Featuring dual rear cameras and a waterdrop notch design, both devices run on Android 14-based UI straight out of the box. Their design closely resembles that of the Vivo Y03, which made its debut in select markets earlier this year.
Meanwhile, the Vivo Y18e is available in a single 4GB + 64GB configuration priced at Rs. 7,999. It shares the same color choices as the base model. Both smartphones are now available for purchase through Vivo’s online store in India.
Specifications: Both the Vivo Y18 and Vivo Y18e feature a 6.56-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and 269ppi pixel density. They are powered by the 12nm octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 SoC paired with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB eMMC 5.1 internal storage. Running on Android 14-based Fun touch OS 14, they offer a smooth user experience.
In the camera department, the Vivo Y18 boasts a 50-megapixel primary rear sensor paired with a 0.08-megapixel sensor, while sporting an 8-megapixel front camera. On the other hand, the Vivo Y18e features a 13-megapixel primary rear sensor along with a 0.08-megapixel secondary unit and a 5-megapixel selfie camera.
