According to Ming-Chi Kuo, a reputable source for Apple-related supply chain information, the outlook for the Vision Pro headset is less than optimistic. Kuo suggests that Apple has revised its shipment estimates and production orders for the year to between 400,000 and 450,000 units, significantly lower than the “market consensus” of 700,000 to 800,000 units or more.
This adjustment follows a decline in demand for the Vision Pro within the US market, prompting Apple to adopt a cautious approach to demand projections in other markets where the headset is set to launch later this year.

Additionally, there are rumors that Apple is reassessing its future release roadmap, indicating that there may not be a new Vision Pro model in 2025. Furthermore, Apple anticipates a decrease in Vision Pro shipments in 2025 compared to 2024.
