Disney and Warner Bros plan to provide a streaming package featuring Disney+, Hulu, and Max.

Walt Disney (DIS.N) and Warner Bros Discovery (WBD.O) have announced plans to introduce a bundle of streaming services, including Disney+, Hulu, and Max, in the United States starting this summer, according to a statement released on Wednesday.

Customers will have the option to subscribe through any of the three individual websites and select between ad-free or ad-supported plans. Pricing details have not been disclosed.

Both Disney and Warner Bros are aiming to expand their streaming businesses as more consumers opt out of traditional cable packages, in part due to the reluctance to pay for extensive channel bundles. With the proliferation of streaming apps, consumers have expressed frustration with the need to subscribe to multiple services.

The Disney/Warner bundle aims to streamline the payment process with a single bill and potentially offer cost savings compared to subscribing to each service separately. Additional information will be provided in the upcoming weeks, according to the companies.

Disney+ offers a wide range of animated and live-action movies, along with content from Marvel, Star Wars, and Pixar. Hulu features series from FX, ABC, and other networks, as well as movies.

Warner Bros’ Max includes premium channel HBO, as well as networks like HGTV, the Food Network, and the Discovery channel.

Disney+ and Hulu are already accessible through a single app, allowing users of the new bundle to access all content through two applications. Shares of Disney and Warner Bros remained unchanged in after-hours trading.
