The One UI 6.1 update has been rolled out to the Samsung Galaxy A54 and A34.

After resolving the issues encountered with the One UI 6.1 update for the Galaxy S22 family last week, Samsung is now set to deliver the latest iteration of its interface to its best-selling mid-range smartphones from the previous year.

Consequently, both the Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A34 are currently being upgraded to One UI 6.1 in Samsung’s native South Korea.

It’s not surprising that these devices won’t be receiving any Galaxy AI features with this update, as those remain exclusive to Samsung’s premium flagship series, namely the S-series and the foldables.

In Korea, the updated version for the Galaxy A54 is denoted as A546SKSU4CXDC (referred to as the Galaxy Quantum 4), while the A34 is receiving the update labeled A346NKSU5CXD5.

Although both updates include the April 2024 security patch level, it’s worth noting that we’re already in May. It remains to be seen how Samsung will address this situation – whether by issuing a separate update this month with the May security patch or waiting until June to incorporate it.

With the update process now underway, it’s anticipated that Galaxy A54 and A34 devices in other regions will soon follow suit and receive the One UI 6.1 update as well.
