After going to the HP Amplify Partner Conference 2024 in Las Vegas last week for three days, I changed my mind quite a bit on the first day.
This event is where HP shows off its new stuff to help its partners and customers. At first, I wasn’t too impressed because the main talks didn’t tell us much about new products. They talked a lot about using AI, but didn’t say how.
But things got better on the second day. The CEO of Nvidia talked about how AI can make things better with HP computers. Then, HP’s President talked about how AI can help businesses. He showed new computers that use AI to make work easier.
They also talked about HP’s AI Studio, which helps companies make AI programs faster and cheaper. This is important because making these programs can cost a lot of money and take a long time. HP’s tool makes it easier for teams to work together.
Overall, HP’s move into AI seems like a good idea. They still need to explain why regular people should care about AI in their computers, but it’s a start. And they also talked about other things they’re doing to help the environment and make their products better.
In short, HP’s event showed that, even though they’ve been around for a long time, they’re still coming up with new ideas.
