Android 15, also known as Vanilla Ice Cream, is still being made and won’t be ready for everyone to use for a while. But developers can try out early versions to see what’s coming in the next big update from Google.
The second early version of Android 15 is ready to download, but it’s mainly for developers because it might have problems. Right now, it only works on Pixel 6 and newer phones.

Google plans to let more people try out Android 15 in April, and they hope to finish it by the end of the year. They want to make sure it works well by June. We’ll learn more about Android 15 features at a big event called Google I/O in May.
Pixel phones will probably be the first to get Android 15, but other brands will follow. Phones like Samsung, OnePlus, Sony, Xiaomi, and Motorola will also get it. Some Android tablets, like the Pixel Tablet and Samsung Galaxy Tab S9, will get Android 15 too.

One cool thing rumored for Android 15 is a way to see how healthy your phone’s battery is. It’ll show you how much charge your battery can hold compared to when it was new. This can help you understand if your battery is getting old and why your phone might be losing power faster. It’s not confirmed yet, but it’s something that could be in Android 15 based on earlier versions.
